Dr. Cashuna Huddleston
Dr. Huddleston is a dedicated professional, firmly grounded in effective therapy, assessment, and consulting practices, striving to provide clients with the highest quality of care. Through a combination of compassion, knowledge, and respect, she works with teens (12+), adults, couples and families to encourage personal growth and development. Whether struggling with depression, anxiety, family relational problems, or any number of other difficulties, it is her goal to assist you and/or your family in fulfilling your goals and improving your quality of life. Dr. Huddleston offers traditional face-to-face, Telehealth, and concierge (when appropriate) services to meet the needs of her clients. Dr. Huddleston's commitment to clients are centered on a platform that adheres to the values of her practice in that she is reliable, available, and validating.
Dr. Huddleston received her Ph.D. from the University of Houston and trained at Vanderbilt University Medical Center-Veteran Affairs Consortium and Baylor College of Medicine. She is also a Texas Credentialed Mediator through the University of Houston Law Center.
Dr. Huddleston is a member of several organizations on the local and national level. She has served as the Past - President (2016-2018) of American Psychological Association (APA) Division 35: Section 1 (Psychology of Black Women) and have been appointed in other roles: Co-Chair of the Division 35 Intersections Taskforce and Early Career Professional Co-chair. Dr. Huddleston has a laudable publication record, including co-authorship in The Journal of Rural Health, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Military Medicine. Additionally, she has presented at national conferences and facilitated educational trainings at the APA, Society of Behavioral Medicine and Texas Psychological Association.
