Ashley received her Master’s of Education in Counseling from Tarleton State University and her Bachelor of Science in Education from The University of Texas at Arlington. Ashley has experience with play therapy, solution-focused counseling, and groups that address emotional, social, and academic concerns. This includes clients with a history of anxiety, Autism, abuse, divorce, bullying, Attention-Deficit Disorder, and foster care. Change is a natural and inevitable part of life. At times, every person has difficulty adjusting to those changes. This often can result in anxiety, anger, and sadness. Whether someone is grieving the loss of a loved one, celebrating a new child, adjusting to a new career or school, or struggling with relationships; everyone may need just a little help working through life’s challenges.

Ashley is passionate about helping clients reach the optimal level of joy and satisfaction in their lives and knows that seeking help shows incredible strength. Previously, she was a teacher for nine years and a school counseling intern. Throughout her career in education, she has gained experience with children with various psychological disorders and diverse backgrounds.
