I am here to help guide you in making positive changes in your life, to be able to live more fully and have more positive relationships.
In my 20 years of practice I have worked with individuals, couples and families. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults. I have specializations in treating adolescents, eating disorders, trauma, and sexual addictions. In addition, I enjoy working with the LGBT community and have a passion for working with those who have been bullied. I often work with families in the crisis of divorce to make the transition as healthy as possible for both the children and the adults in the family.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Adlerian Therapy and other modalities.
Using a positive wellness approach, I also treat depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and other mental health issues. My husband and I have fostered many children and adolescents along with raising our two biological two children.
I enjoy working with individuals and families to promote positive change! There is nothing more satisfying, for the client and therapist, than to see positive change and growth!
