We are experiencing shifts in the world right now, and that can bring up many questions along with anxiety that feels out of control and can cause strain on our lives and relationships. As a trained Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) therapist, I am passionate about working with couples to establish ways to deepen their bond and strengthen the connection they long for. Also an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing-trained therapist, I use EMDR to help clients who have experienced trauma to find long-lasting healing through restructuring negative beliefs into healthy, positive emotional freedom.
I feel called to work with people dealing with this current crisis, as well as life transitions, trauma, couples counseling and depression and/or anxiety. Many of my clients are in the LGBTQIA+ community. I have been trained in EMDR and also EFT, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples counseling.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative experience between client and therapist and that I can help you find peace and wholeness. I also believe that everyone has the strengths, resilience and resources to create and live a meaningful life. I am here to help those with amplified anxiety and depression reestablish a sense of vitality and balance.
