Amanda Earle
My pronouns are She/Her/Hers. As a trauma-informed Narrative therapist, I hold a belief that “we live our lives through the stories we tell about ourselves, and others tell about us.” My intention in the counseling room is to help clients discover how, when, and where their stories were created, and offer support in identifying and making desired changes. I specialize in serving members of the LGBTQ+, Kink and BDSM communities; individuals navigating non-monogamy or polyamory; people living with HIV and/or other chronic illness; and others wanting to address concerns related to addiction, depression and/or anxiety. My therapeutic style is creative and engaging, as I often incorporate metaphor, experiential exercises, skill-building, story-telling, and emphasize Harm Reduction. Having previously worked in non-profit healthcare, I view my role as both counselor and advocate in supporting my clients access the care they need.
