Jillian Blueford
I view our life journey as a collection of experiences that influence who we are and how we see the world. We often experience (and can expect) to deal with hurdles and roadblocks that can make some days unbearable. This is where counseling comes in. I love joining alongside others and empowering them to keep making steps when they don’t think they can. I will always admit to any client that counseling is hard and applaud anyone who takes the step to reflect inward and grow. My hope and main priority are to create a space where ALL individuals feel safe enough to be their authentic selves.
My specialty lies in grief counseling. Grief is a universal experience that we all share. This can be the death of a loved one, end of a relationship, change in financial status, etc. We all have experienced losses that change us and can be challenging to process. I have clinical experience, training, and a research focus on supporting grieving individuals.
While I may have some expertise in counseling, I empower my clients to know that they are the experts of their own lives, and I am a resource and support along their life journeys. I am here to be a sounding board, a confidant, and a motivator to push clients to see the potential that I see in them. This is a time for you to work on you!
