Alicia Stettler, LCSW specializes in a trauma-informed, holistic approach to emotional, psychological and physical wellbeing. Originally from the United Kingdom, she graduated from Hawaii Pacific University and has been working with teens and adults for over 6 years. Alicia has a diverse clinical background with experience working in domestic violence and sexual assault, couples therapy, adolescent mental health, psycho-nephrology, grief, and end-of-life counseling for individuals and families.
Alicia focuses on nurturing clients’ strengths, believing that all individuals have the tools within for self-healing and growth. Alicia is simply your guide and support. She utilizes various techniques such as Psychosynthesis, Yoga, Art Therapies, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapies. By looking at a person’s holistic landscape (food intake, activity, relationships, traumas, sleep, media, etc.), Alicia strives to facilitate and enhance awareness, happiness and health.
During her free time, Alicia enjoys painting and spending time outdoors, particularly in the ocean, with her husband and 3 young children. Alicia also focuses her energy on social justice advocacy. She approaches mindfulness through a daily yoga practice, mindful breathing and conscious eating. Alicia is currently completing a 200HYT yoga program, which has strengthened her use of vinyasa flows and yogic principles to promote balance, presence and wholeness of self.
