Helping individuals discover their best self is a passion that I hold dearly. I believe there is importance in nurturing oneself, fostering a positive self-image, and believing in yourself. I am very passionate about helping you realize your true identity and created Discover S.E.L.F. (Surviving your struggle, Evolving your relationships, Loving your life, and Fulfilling your purpose) as a motto to conquer depression and anxiety and other mental health concerns.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A & M and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Christian University. I have experience working in clinical and private practice settings. Additionally, I have an educational background working in school settings for 14 years; therefore, working with adolescents, teens, and adults is a joy. I specialize in working with individuals and families dealing with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

My goal as a therapist is to support each of my clients with the helpings skills they uniquely need to cherish and achieve the goals they seek. My theoretical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavior Therapy with Mindfulness-based techniques to nurture self-care and find balance in your life.
