Bio

Megan received her a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Sacramento State University, Ca. and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She brings ten years of experience working with individuals and families of diverse backgrounds during their most difficult times and feels especially honored to be able do this work. Megan is certified in TEAM CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and uses combination of techniques, such as, CBT & Dialectical Behavioral Therapies (CBT & DBT), Structural Family Therapy, Play therapy, and Attachment and Strength-Based therapies, to build client’s coping skills, communication skills, and help the client improve their lives.

She also specializes in working with parents to build the tools they need to help address family conflict such as communication issues, divorce/blended families, mood, developmental, or behavioral problems. Megan also works with young adults and their parents who may experiencing ‘failure to launch’ and offers strategic opportunities for young adults and parents to navigate launching in a healthy way.
