I spent 3 years working toward a Master's degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology. My training for becoming a psychotherapist was rooted in the practice of present mindfulness. I have blended my trauma training (EMDR), grief counseling, and my training and experience in working with clients outdoors to provide a grounded, integrated and professional counseling experience. The life experience of working through my own trauma has provided the most comprehensive training and understanding for what clients go through. With deep respect for how the body processes and releases difficult experiences, I bring gentleness, safety and tenacity toward reaching our goals together.
I have lived and worked in Boulder, CO for the past 15 years and balance my work life with a heavy dose of activity, fresh air and joyful connections.
