About Me
Dezryelle Arcieri is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT # 86685 CA / #60608697 WA) and Certified Yoga Instructor (200hr YTT) based out of Seattle, WA., who provides services in both Washington State and California. Ms. Arcieri specializes in treating the whole person, by utilizing Western and Eastern philosophies to promote healing of the mind, body, and spirit. Through the use of evidence-based practices, yoga, and mindfulness, Ms. Arcieri guides individuals and families through the delicate process of transforming suffering to allow for identification of the authentic self and a deeper connection to the human experience. Ms. Arcieri is skilled in a variety of techniques, including talk therapy, somatic therapy, yoga therapy, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and other creative interventions, to help individuals and families gain clarity, release fears and attachments, and operate from a place of honest vulnerability so that they may cultivate a life of love, peace, and health.
Ms. Arcieri received her BA in psychology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2010 and went straight on to Pepperdine University and earned a MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2012. She received her clinical training at multiple leading community mental health agencies throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, providing low-cost/no-cost mental health services to high-risk individuals and families. Ms. Arcieri held a position as Field Service Partnership (FSP) Coordinator and LPS Designate at community mental health agencies contracted through the Department of Mental Health (DMH), where she was both a clinical administrator and clinical therapist working with high risk children, teens, and young adults with persistent and severe mental illnesses. This work is very near and dear to Ms. Arcieri’s heart as she believes it allowed her the opportunity to give to those who need it most, while at the same time providing her with broad education and healing opportunities. In addition to her clinical practice, Ms. Arcieri held a position as Executive Director and Yoga Instructor for UpRising Yoga, a non-profit dedicated to bringing trauma-informed yoga to incarcerated youth and underserved communicates. During this time, Ms. Arcieri went on to build and maintained a thriving private practice in Los Angeles, and now Seattle, where she currently lives. Ms. Arcieri has been able to merge her love of yoga and psychology to provide therapy, created programs, retreats, and workshops in a variety of communicates and organizations.
Currently, Ms. Arcieri works full time at her private practice in Ballard. In addition, Ms. Arcieri works part-time as the Clinical Coordinator at Real Escape From The Sex Trade (REST), a non-profit dedicated to providing services and resources to individuals who have been sex trafficked or worked in the sex trade. She provides trauma therapy and somatic therapy to individuals client’s as well as acts as the clinical supervisor for students and interns working towards licensure in the mental health field.
In her practice, Ms. Arcieri blends yoga and body awareness techniques with traditional therapy modalities to create a holistic experience for her clients. Ms. Arcieri understands the importance of connection and rapport in the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist.
