Hello, my name is Cheryl McGill, the owner of Moscow Counseling LLC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and earned my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, specializing in counseling Military Personnel and Families. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider (CTHP).
I provide a comforting, safe, and non-judgmental environment where you can openly discuss and address your problems and concerns. Together, we will work collaboratively in a supportive and caring manner to help you restructure unhealthy attitudes and beliefs, build effective coping skills, and develop positive ways of thinking to improve your mood, self-esteem, communication skills, motivation, and confidence.
With time, engagement, and practice, you'll be able to effectively manage and reduce distressing emotions and self-defeating thoughts and behaviors so you can live a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
My therapeutic approach is Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Transpersonal Counseling. I provide counseling services for a variety of clients and mental health concerns. My personal interest is in working with Veterans, college students, and members of the LGBTQIA community. I am currently pursuing dual PhD's in Transpersonal Counseling and Parapsychology.
