Bio

I  am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice. My practice is built around a strong belief in human resilience and intrinsic capacity to overcome challenges. Without this belief I would not be able to impact lives of so many. I feel passionate about the work I do and feel humbled when clients entrust me with their pain and tribulations. I counsel adults of all ages specializing in treatment of anxiety, panic attacks and depression, relationship/marital conflicts, intergenerational conflicts, parenting issues, life transitions, existential crisis, grief and loss.
My practice is culturally sensitive and is geared towards empowering clients to utilize their innate ability to make changes. I mainly draw upon Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behaviors approaches; however, I structure my treatment variety of ways to address specific needs of my clients.
I could either work over a brief time-period on concrete, achievable goals or I could work employing a long-term, exploratory framework. I believe a client-therapist relationship should be a natural match. Therefore, I offer a free-of-charge initial session
Specialties
Bipolar Disorder, Career Counseling, Chronic Illness, Chronic Pain, Codependency, Coping Skills, Depression, Divorce Family, Conflict, Life Transitions, Marital and Premarital, Parenting, Peer Relationships, Self Esteem, Stress, Trauma and PTSD, Weight Loss
