Constant fighting, distance, and loss of romance are just a few symptoms of ineffective communication. I believe our emotions are one of the biggest forms of communicating with our significant others. When we find ourselves struggling to acknowledge and identify our emotions, we are unable to effectively communicate with our significant other. Understanding our emotions, let alone our significant other’s emotions, can be tricky. But, there is hope in rebuilding that communication. There is hope in rebuilding trust and romance that has fizzled. It's a process that takes work, but coming here is the right first step.

Putting words to our emotions can be really hard, so I find that helping my clients find meaning behind their emotions helps them put words to their emotions. This helps clients better communicate within their relationships.
