About Me

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado with more than 20 years experience as a department supervisor and a clinician.

Adults of all ages and backgrounds come to me for professional counseling. I have experience working with issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, family, grief, and finding personal meaning, I am also adept at working with Tourette Disorder and Epilepsy. I work from an eclectic therapeutic framework with a cognitive-behavioral emphasis. I truly enjoy helping others grow toward their potential, find strength in their relationships, and experience more happiness in their lives.

Before entering the practice of therapy, I majored in psychology at the University of Arizona and received my doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University. (You may visit my page on the Psychology Today website for additional information.) In addition to these professional tools, my personal attributes may contribute the greatest change in therapy: I listen to clients with genuine concern, provide hope for a better tomorrow, and help my clients to meet personal goals by using evidence-based strategies and mutually-explored workable solutions. The setting is private, safe, and comfortable.

You have many options for therapists. With me, I believe you will find the right balance of expertise, life experience, and personal attributes which enable me to help you meet your goals in therapy. It would be a privilege to work with you. Call (719) 237-7305 or email now for a free phone consultation.
