I believe that warmth, understanding and compassion are the key to any successful and supportive therapeutic relationship and these qualities are the foundation of my practice. I have been providing counseling services to individuals, couples and families for a number of years in a variety of settings and one thing has always been the same; I learn something new from each and every client and the relationship that is built through the course of treatment is where the healing is created. I tailor my approach based on the needs of my clients and collaborate with them to identify their goals.
I use an integrative and holistic approach with flexibility in my treatment methods which allows me to meet the needs of a variety of presenting concerns. I have experience working with individuals dealing with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, self esteem, communication issues, intimacy, ADHD, OCD, and parenting.
I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and have since increased my skill set through training on the practice of Anxiety and Stress Management, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I use these skills to meet the individual needs of each client.
