About Me
Are you or your child struggling with issues related to trauma, depression, relationship challenges, anxiety, or major life changes? It's healthy to talk to someone to help cope with many of life’s obstacles. I’m a licensed therapist in the greater Pittsburgh area, and I’d love to help you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
For many years I was community mental health provider in the greater Pittsburgh area and since opening the doors of my practice this year, I have provided clients with a wide range of psychological services. My goal is to help you reimagine a life worth living to the fullest.
I specialize in individual and family therapy, with children, adolescents and adults.
I am a clinical social worker with experience and interest in caring for children, adolescents and young adults and including parents and schools as partners. My style is practical and solution-focused, with emphasis on the relationship between the child and parents in an attempt to decrease conflict and increase empathy and understanding. I believe the client-therapist relationship is the foundation of a supportive and safe environment. With a background in a number of settings including home, school, outpatient and inpatient, I also bring to my work experience behavioral techniques and always adopt a framework of trauma-informed care.
I collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan which provides the tools and strategies that will be most effective for you in building health, hope and happiness.
I also have clinical training in, and experience with, psychotherapy for adults with symptoms of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and anger management.
