As a Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Personal Trainer I believe strongly in the connection between physical and emotional well being. I realize that healing comes in many forms and can be accessed through multiple avenues. I do not subscribe to one form of therapy… but instead have several different approaches and strategies. With my clients' knowledge and understanding of themselves, I help facilitate whichever approaches will be most beneficial. This belief and practice comes from years of experience as a therapist and as an athlete.
I competed on the hit NBC show American Ninja Warrior, seasons 7 and 8. Being a therapist and an American Ninja Warrior compliment each other surprisingly well. While my job as a therapist is to help others overcome their obstacles....my job as an ANW athlete is to overcome my own. Some obstacles in life we seek out, others we have very little, if any, desire to face. However one reality seems to hold true - whatever the obstacles... internal, external, emotional or physical - the more equipped we are to handle and overcome them, the better we tend to feel.
