About Me

I know that the change process requires bravery, patience and letting go of some control. In 2005, I moved to Thailand to find new ways to manage anxiety and confront fears while living with monks, in farming villages and traveling. This experience was a catalyst for me. When I return, I completed a Master’s Degree in Social Work to help others find change without having to uproot their lives.

I specialize in treating women 20-45 who excel at work, school and being the rock for everyone in their world but struggle with the running to do list in their head and finding meaningful relationships. I help clients unravel anxiety, substance use, messy childhoods and overcontrol so they can experience balance, peace and calm for the first time in their lives.

I have specialized training in anxiety, substance use, insomnia and trauma and the Safe and Sound protocol. I use mindfulness (I know, it's a challenge with high-functioning anxiety but you can do this!) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help make life seem like less of a struggle.

I'm the former Director of Behavioral Health at Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit and she is passionate about offering creative and holistic approaches to help clients reach their goals more quickly. Client’s tell me that the they appreciate my wit, compassion and insight to help identify and change patterns of behavior and thought that are no longer serving them.
