There are so many challenges in life; difficult life transitions, traumatic events, relationship issues, and instability that can negatively impact one's mental, emotional, and physical health. You do not have to be alone and often times, the help of another person is the missing piece of the puzzle.
My approach to therapy is centered around the unique needs of each individual. I believe that therapy is a tool to optimize strengths and positive characteristics; therefore, together we will not pick, prod, or analyze. I utilize a blend of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to help my clients develop the skills that they need to build confidence and positive self-awareness. I have additional training supporting anxiety, sports-related anxiety, issues surrounding body image, and overwhelming life transitions.
My therapeutic style is warm and approachable. You will be welcomed into a non-judgmental space with respect and an open-mind.
