Ellen Eggerding
My greatest privilege is helping people find healing and wholeness as they work through the negative effects of hurt, anger and loss and the impact that these have had on their lives. It's through exploring what's behind the hurts & challenges that allow them to become empowered to live joyfully and successfully as the men and women they were created to be.
Many of life's struggles can be traced back to unresolved loss(es) which have not been appropriately acknowledged or grieved. It is through engaging the grieving process as part of their healing journey that frees people from the negative effects past wounds have had on their lives.
Finding a safe way to heal involves experiencing the acceptance and support of a healthy and professional counseling relationship. My counseling experience includes depression, anxiety, grief & loss, self-esteem, communication, relationship wounds, negative thinking patterns, suicide, death and dying, and trauma.
My education includes training in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and suicide intervention. I'm also an experienced group leader in suicide support.
