Dalton is a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP) and earned her Master’s degree from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology, in addition to being a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Dalton is currently accepting new clients. She has worked as a therapist/clinician and clinical supervisor for many years. As such, Dalton has extensive experience and expertise working with adults, adolescents and families, in addition to specializing in working with those struggling with Substance Use Disorders and Co-Occurring Disorders. She has provided treatment in an array of settings, including outpatient clinics, residential substance use treatment centers, crisis intervention services and community-based/in-home mental health services.
In her practice as a therapist/clinician, Dalton utilizes a combination of motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral and humanistic therapy techniques. Dalton is deeply committed to providing a non-judgmental and safe therapeutic environment for her clients, which fosters positive change, personal growth and mental wellness.
Dalton provides psychotherapy to individuals with anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, adjustment disorders, trauma (including post-traumatic stress disorder), relationship issues and individuals with serious mental health and/or substance use disorders.
