Cheryl Schnabolk earned her MSW in 2009 from Rutgers School of Social Work. Since that time she has been working with adults, children, and families managing a myriad of social emotional challenges. Her experience working both inpatient and outpatient for individuals struggling with severe mental health challenges, coupled with her crisis work through NJ DCP&P has enabled her to successfully meet the needs of her clients. Through creative, individualized care plans she meets the needs of every client employing compassion, empathy, and a building of trust. Her office if one of serenity, calm, and judgement free space where children, adults, and families can come together to overcome the challenges that have prevented them from living their best life.
Cheryl works from a solution focused, cognitive behavioral perspective, but utilizes aspects of play therapy, DBT, and other modalities to ensure that she understands and is able to meet the emotional needs of her clients.
