Bio

I specialize in helping children with school, family, friendships as well as navigating the various developmental stages in life. For the caregiver(s), it can be worrisome to entrust your child to another adult. For as long as it takes, the initial sessions will be spent earning the trust of your child. For your child, my gentleness, calming demeanor and genuineness coincide with a nurturing environment so your child feels safe, seen, heard, and valued.

I specialize in working with men to improve emotional intelligence and communication to restore your sense of self and your significant relationships.

I specialize in providing Highly Sensitive People, the support to help you identify what your qualities are and how your qualities are a beautiful gift to you and others. I specialize in helping them work for you to enrich your life.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in History from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. During my graduate program, I participated in a yearlong internship with Providence Network working with individuals and families coming out of homelessness, and provided counseling services to children and moms rebuilding from domestic violence, as well as group therapy for men recovering from addictions.

For two years post-graduation, I provided in-home therapy services and led behavioral coaches as we worked extensively with a variety of families, adolescents, and children in the foster system with histories of trauma, abuse, dependency and neglect. I have been in private practice since 2015. I have experience working with the family as a whole, as well as with each individual family member to meet their needs in seeking healing. In addition, I am a full time Youth Pastor where I continue to work with kids and make a difference in the community.

Aside from professional life, I’m married and enjoy being with friends and family, and being an uncle to adorable nephews. I love sports and play hockey and a handful of video games. I also enjoy adventuring around Colorado taking photos of its beauty.
