My counseling experience spans more than 10 years; but, real life-- and my fair share of mishaps--have equally added to my ability to establish meaningful connections, and help people through difficult times. After graduating from college with a degree in Business Management, and teaching English in Buenos Aires, Argentina - I worked as a Mental Health Specialist for one of the largest behavioral health providers in Memphis, TN. My experience continued at an outpatient mental health organization, where I provided individual and group therapy services for adults dealing with substance use. Here, I saw first-hand the life-changing benefits of counseling, and discovered my gift of connecting with people in a way that was authentic and nonjudgmental. After completing my Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas, Arlington – I moved to Houston, TX, where I work full-time as a therapist, while completing my Ph.D. at the University of Houston. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, traveling, and exercising.
Who I Help: I provide individual and couples counseling as well as relationship coaching. I work with people who have experienced anxiety, depression, perfectionism, divorce, relationship struggles, uncertainty, loss of any nature, and more. I have a deep understanding of how hardships, fears and their results can threaten to keep us from our potential and successes —but, once confronted and once understood, we can overcome and grow from them.
