Marla Christensen MA LPC, NCC owner and founder of Wellspring Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy LLC, I am here to come alongside you in your career, family, and social relationships. Within our therapeutic relationship, we will integrate your mind, body, culture, and spiritual makeup, to assist you to gain a better understanding of your experiences, and work with you for healing. Through our counseling relationship I will assist you to be the best you can be within your own world.
Education Includes: MA in Marriage and Family Counseling from George Fox University (MCFC). Honors Oregon State University, Liberal Studies with psychology emphasis. I also earned the National Certified Counselors Certificate. In addition to the earned degrees and certifications, my experience includes one year of internship with the Veteran Affairs Mental Health Clinic counseling families, and couples and four years in private practice. In addition, I have completed the Military STAR Behavioral Health Providers training, and am a registered STAR provider for our Military Star Behavioral Health Program.
Background includes: Founder/Owner of Wellspring Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy; Marriage and Family Therapist for Veteran’s Affairs, worked in Aviation for twelve years, business owner, Regional Manager of a multimillion dollar advertising company, business development, and experience working with top level executives in multiple disciplines.
I am the recipient of the “Best of Tualatin, Mental Health Service” award, three years consecutively, 2017, 2018 and 2019, and 2020 awarded by the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce.
Memberships Include: AAMFT, OBLPCT, NBCC, ORCA, and ACA, STAR, National Scholars Honor Society.
