Kalie Moore, LPCA, holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. She specializes in providing child and adult therapy services and social skills groups for kids, teens, and young adults. Kalie has experience working with kids, teens, parents, and couples dealing with a variety of different mental health concerns. She specializes in providing individual child therapy services and couples therapy. She is also a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for couples interested in premarital counseling and assessment. Kalie provides therapy services for grief, ADHD issues, high-functioning Autism, anxiety, depression, emotional issues, social issues, relationship issues, adjustment issues, self-esteem issues, dealing with divorce, peer pressure, anger management, mood disorders, conduct disorders, behavioral issues, Oppositional Defiant Disorders (ODD), parent coaching, and a wide range of other mental health issues. She also has experience working in a residential program for teen girls dealing with substance abuse.
Kalie uses several different therapeutic strategies (including family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person centered therapy, Solution Focused Therapy models, etc) and strives to tailor her approach to individual clients’ specific needs. She is also trained in Trauma-Focused CBT for children. Kalie's strategies focus on identifying goals, reinforcing positive and adaptive behaviors, decreasing negative and harmful behaviors, achieving practical solutions, and developing important problem solving skills. Kalie understands the importance of faith and spirituality in life and in the counseling process, and she offers Christian-based therapy for those who would like to incorporate faith into their therapeutic journey.
