Therapy can be uncomfortable for some, but I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all my patients. Some of my areas of expertise include:
Individuals: I can help you work through issues of anger, anxiety, depression and bereavement, while helping you find confidence in yourself. I use CBT, DBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approaches.
Couples: I work with couples, including same-sex partners, in all stages of relationships including premarital counseling and those on the brink of divorce. By using Emotionally Focused Therapy I can help you and your partner create a positive impact in each others lives.
Families: Life events can be challenging on the family unit. I help families dealing with parenting challenges, substance abuse, divorce, bereavement and other challenging obstacles. I also work with blended families trying to navigate the new parenting system, which can be overwhelming.
