I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Yoga Teacher. My goal is to help you develop the skills you need to overcome life’s challenges. Through self-exploration, mindfulness, and solution-focused sessions, we will work to help you overcome the struggles that you identify. Clients may seek out counseling services to help cope with anxiety, depression, stress management, work issues, grief and loss, relationship concerns, family stress, and many other reasons.
In sessions, I employ a variety of evidenced-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and positive psychology techniques. By practicing these techniques, you will develop an increased self-esteem and improved self-awareness. You will begin to feel more relaxed and learn how to restructure negative thought patterns. During your sessions, I will help you to set and achieve the goals you have identified so you can live a happy and fulfilling life. My specialties include working with clients that are struggling with family issues, relationship concerns, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, working with members of the LGBT community, and women’s issues. In my practice, I offer sessions in my counseling office or from the convenience of your own home on a secure video platform. I have appointments available in the evenings and on the weekend so that you can find a time that works best in your schedule.
