Hello! I have worked as a therapist since graduating from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. Being a therapist is one of my greatest joys because I enjoy working with people to achieve their goals. I use a client-focused, strength-based approach as I collaborate with you on your chosen goals. My intention is to support you in feeling empowered, positive, and successful. Whether we're addressing emotional struggles in your daily life, difficulties in your personal relationships, or the challenges your children are experiencing, I will listen and encourage you with compassion and empathy.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression and trauma symptoms as well as behavioral and emotional challenges for children, teens, and adults. I also address relationship, self esteem, and communication issues. I utilize a combination of techniques in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), CBT, Structural Family Therapy, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness.
Emotions from anxiety and trauma can be difficult to manage on your own and you shouldn't have to. I believe you are capable of living your best journey and sometimes you need help to do that.
