Bio

I am so grateful to be able to incorporate spiritual concepts into counseling! My faith has gotten me through many life struggles and I love talking to others about how to use God and the Bible as coping skills. If client’s don’t want to incorporate religion, that’s fine too! I’ve spent the last 5 years in non-profit counseling so I’m comfortable leaving religion out of sessions as well. Wherever your are on the faith spectrum, I will meet you there. Even if we don’t talk about faith, I use the values it has taught me in sessions including being honest and trustworthy.

I have years of experience working with clients who struggle with addiction. I also enjoy working on anxiety, depression, family issues, and stress management. I mostly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.

I am in multiple locations (Marion, Delaware, Sunbury, and Powell). So if you want to be seen in your hometown, or a town away, my schedule can accommodate your needs. Telehealth is also a great option. It’s convenient for people with busy schedules and can be as effective as in person sessions. I use a HIPAA compliant platform which is very easy to use.
