Eva Ponder

I am a seasoned psychologist who works to make therapy a safe place for healing. I am licensed in Texas, Illinois and Indiana and also have an Interjurisdictional Practice Certificate (IPC), which allows me to practice across state lines in participating states.

Issues I frequently work with include recovery from trauma, relationship problems, stress and anxiety, grief (including pet loss), and adjustment to life challenges. I have training in several evidence based therapy modalities and adapt them to to your individual needs. I believe it is important to work collaboratively and non-judgmentally with you to address your specific concerns in a manner that works best for you.

Cultural and spiritual issues are important, and I am well equipped to address these, as I have worked in many cross cultural settings and likewise have many close relationships with people who have different cultural backgrounds. My educational training also has equipped me to address spiritual issues, and my life experience as a pastor's wife has also left me with a strong interest and passion to help individuals struggling with spiritual questions and people in positions of spiritual leadership with their special challenges.
