Many children, adolescents, and adults face stressors leading to psychosis, depression, anxiety, anger, conflicts with others, occupational problems, academic challenges, behavioral changes, emotional regulation. I work with individuals using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help them during difficult times. At times it might be hard to see positive outcomes, but I work with my clients to identify their strengths and values to get through those hard times. In therapy I provide a safe environment where I encourage mindfulness and acceptance of emotions, behaviors, and thoughts.
Through identifying challenges that prevent from making lifestyle changes, I help find alternative ways to manage emotional responses. Along with the use of (ACT/CBT) therapy, I believe in full mind and body treatment encouraging healthy lifestyle changes to improve long term health through diet, sleep, exercise, and self-care.
I treat adults diagnosed with psychosis, mood disorders like depression, bipolar, and anxiety. I also work with children and adolescents diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders of ADHD and autism spectrum. I have experience providing treatment in outpatient, inpatient, school, home, and community. I also provide individual, group and family therapy.
