About Me

Hi, I’m Beth, a licensed marriage and family therapist who has provided services primarily for foster and adoptive families, including both parents and children for almost 30 years. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a focus on building resilience, strengthening relationships, and supporting emotional well-being. I utilize evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) to help clients develop healthy coping skills, improve communication, and foster secure connections within the family system.
Are you lacking joy in your life? Are you overwhelmed by the needs and behaviors of yourself or others? We will work together to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and accepting environment. Imagine walking out with new ideas on how to approach difficult situations that bring you a sense of accomplishment and address problematic behaviors.
My practice helps families move beyond traditional “behavior management” to focus on the neurological and emotional roots of attachment. With an emphasis on building trust before seeking compliance a roadmap is vital for parents who may feel overwhelmed by the "invisible" needs and trauma-informed behaviors of their children.
