MY APPROACH TO WELLNESS
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or just not feeling your very best in your relationship with yourself or others, I would like to guide you in your healing process towards discovering how to feel whole and happy. My studies in the practices of meditation, mindfulness, and yoga have inspired me to help others attain wellness at all levels- through a holistic approach that encourages self-awareness by learning how to connect with mind, body, spirit, and most importantly, how to befriend emotions.

I was born in Austin, Texas, raised in Houston, and spent summers visiting my roots in Colombia, South America so I am bicultural and bilingual. My first degree was in Journalism from UT, then I found I was drawn to counseling just as much as I was to writing, so I went back to get my Masters in Professional Counseling in 2009 from Texas State University. My experience with kids and teens has been as a teacher, mentor, and school counselor. In 2013, I began work with adults and families through psychotherapy. Now in 2019, I feel inspired to help people of all ages through coaching, counseling, and teaching mindfulness practices for daily living.
