About Me
Welcome and thank you so much for taking the time to look at my profile! I am honored to be considered as a person to help you in your journey to wellness and healing. I am a current doctoral student at William and Mary's Counselor Education and Supervision program. I have extensive experience with substance use disorders, concerns with attachment, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, intimacy and interpersonal issues, and those with long-standing personality traits that have caused difficulty. I work with clients with a variety of backgrounds, including LGBTQ+, clients who are POC, and those from other historically- marginalized identities.
I work from a person-centered perspective, tailoring therapy to fit your individual needs. I am a friendly, engaged, and nonjudgmental therapist who will provide a fresh perspective on what is going on with your current situation. I specialize in CBT techniques, attachment theory, and solution-focused approaches as well. Together, we will determine the approach that will best help you achieve your goals. You deserve the kind of life that meets your physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
I instill a sense of hope, excitement, and curiosity in my clients to better understand themselves and what they would like to get out of their life journeys. We all struggle at some point! I am no stranger to the grief, sadness, and confusion that life throws at us, which heavy burden to carry when we feel like we're going through it alone. My goal is for you to never feel like you are alone or have to carry those burdens by yourself. I look forward to hearing from you and wish you all the best!
