Michael Wagner
Michael D. Wagner Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with over 28 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults. He completed his doctoral education and training at Ohio University, and interned at UMASS Medical Center/Worcester State Hospital. He completed a clinical psychology fellowship at Harding Psychiatric Hospital. His work locations have extended from independent psychology practice, to inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment, and juvenile corrections, to directing two large community behavioral health clinics. Dr. Wagner’s interests include forensic psychological evaluation, academic consultation, and the treatment of anxiety and depression, AD/HD, autism, anger control problems, abuse, oppositional defiance disorder, and PTSD. His theoretical foundation is eclectic, and is comprised of components of CBT, psychoanalytic and family systems models. He is a member of American Psychological Association, the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, Mental Health America, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, The Bridge First Responders Program, the Clinically Integrated Network at OhioHealth and the BWC Disability Evaluator’s Panel.
