Tania Feres, RMHCI/RMFTI (Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern/Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern)
Tania has the desire to help clients to reach their goals using Mindfulness, Solution- Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Tania speaks English and Portuguese.
Tania has additional training with couples and families. If you are struggling in your marriage/ relationship with communication, don't hesitate to contact me. I have experience helping couples learn communication skills to better their relationship. There is hope!
Tania recently graduated with a Master’s in Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certification in Family and Relationship Therapy from Rollins College. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
Tania is trained in Gottman’s Institute Level 1 and is also a Prepare-Enrich Facilitator. Moreover, she received her Mindfulness Certificate from the University of Central Florida. She is a member of American Counseling Association, AAMFT, and CFAMFT. She is interested in getting certified as an eating disorder therapist in the near future.
Tania has experience with children and families when she worked in several schools of Central Florida. She has a passion helping families achieve their goals. She also helped children and families who didn’t speak English to get settled in a new school setting. Tania completed her Mental Health Counseling Pre-Practicum at Aspire. She completed her Social Justice Pre-Practicum at I-Dignity.
Tania was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1998. She enjoys going to yoga classes and spending time with her family. She is currently a graduate student in Counseling. She enjoys reading, walking, and exercising.
