Bio

When life gets overwhelming, it can feel like you’re stuck, facing an endless cycle that you wish could change. Experiencing gridlock in your own life or in a relationship can be stressful, frustrating, and lonely. Sometimes in the moment, it can seem easier to ignore or avoid the issues that are challenging you until you are faced with them again; and other times you can’t stop thinking about your challenges. It can also be difficult or painful to tolerate watching your loved ones struggle, or make decisions you think are not in their best interest. Over time, these stressors can cause you to feel sad, anxious, empty, misunderstood, angry, or even unbalanced. This can put a strain on relationships at home, school and/or work.

Wherever you are in the process, I will actively work with you and your loved ones to get “unstuck.” We will work together to identify and make progress towards your goals to enable you to improve your relationship with yourself and others. I work with teens, adults, couples and families providing individual, couples and family therapy. Together using a collaborative approach, we can navigate through life’s transitions, whether it is divorce, loss, addiction, stressors at school/work, relationship conflicts, trauma or other various issues. I’m passionate about helping my clients live the life they choose to live, while staying connected to others who are important to them. I believe that when you gain more self-awareness and understand the patterns that hold you back, you can live a more fulfilling life.

Whether you’re coming into therapy alone, with your partner, family member, or bringing your loved one, I will use the approach that best fits your needs. It is my goal to create an authentic, safe, and supportive environment in which meaningful and lasting positive change can be made. It takes considerable courage to take that first step and seek support, which makes it a privilege for me to be part of your journey towards growth.
