Meghan Rich
Engaging in counseling can be hard work, yet deeply fulfilling. Thus a safe, affirming, collaborative, and healing journey is what I strive to provide clients. My approach has been described as warm, compassionate, holistic, and intuitive—infused with authenticity and laughter. Come find your harmony with Meghan Rich Psychotherapy LLC.
You will be supported as you gain insight to heal from your past and grow in your relationships, to release core beliefs and behavior patterns that no longer serve you, to discover and activate your inner strengths, and to overcome life’s challenges to achieve harmony and thrive. It will be my honor to meet you where you are, hold space for your unique story, and walk the journey with you.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I moved to Denver in 2007 where ever-present sunshine and nature's abundance nourish my soul. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University, and I possess two undergraduate degrees in fine art and graphic design.
I launched my private practice in September of 2020 and hold the authority to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC.0017994) while I fulfill the requirements set by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) to obtain licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC). Accordingly, I receive supervision with a well-respected LPC in the Denver mental health community.
My counseling style is eclectic and begins with a person-centered approach through a humanistic lens. Areas of specialty include: anxiety/stress, anger, bipolar disorder, boundaries, communication, depression, divorce recovery, EMDR, existential concerns, family of origin issues, grief/loss, identity, infidelity, narcissistic abuse, perfectionism, relationships, self-worth, sobriety support, spirituality, transitions, and trauma (acute, chronic, PTSD).
Serving individuals ages sixteen and upward, Meghan Rich Psychotherapy LLC values the diversity of racial and cultural identity and background, nationality, sexual and affectional orientation, gender identity and its expression, religious background and spiritual belief, marital status, family structure, age, mental and physical health and ability, political view, and educational and economic status. All are welcome!
