Bio

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina and South Carolina. I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 15 years. I have treated adults, children, teenagers, and their families.

I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Social Work. I abide by the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics.

I have clinical experience in various settings including outpatient clinics, foster homes, and residential treatment facilities. I have a great deal of experience treating people who have suffered some sort of trauma in their lives, whether that’s domestic violence, child abuse, sexual abuse/rape, or loss of a loved one. I also specialize in working with teenagers who are struggling with peers, dealing with depression or anxiety, and having difficulties in the home.

Personally, I am the mother of a 13 year old son. I understand the challenges of today’s busy families and enjoy helping others find balance, solve problems, and experience greater happiness in their lives.
