About Me

Camie Vincent, L.P.C., L.M.H.C. is a licensed psychotherapist who provides therapy to individuals, couples, children, and families who need support while dealing with life's obstacles. She assists them in increasing their level of happiness and overall life satisfaction while focusing on building better relationships and stronger families. With an eclectic approach, Ms. Vincent tailors her therapy interventions to meet the needs of her clients. She practices Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Play, Solution-Focused, and Emotionally Focused Couple, Therapies. She puts a lot of emphasis on mindfulness-based interventions that focus on stress reduction and treatments that are more holistic in nature.

Her specialties include Trauma/PTSD, Relationship Issues, Adoption, Anger, Men’s Issues, Behavioral Issues (sees children from 2-17 years of age), Women’s Issues, and Life Coaching.

Ms. Vincent has extensive training/experience with trauma and adoption. She is trained as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and is a Certified Adoption Therapist. She is listed under the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center at the Medical University in South Carolina.

Ms. Vincent is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of Psi Chi (International Honor Society in Psychology) and The Academy for Behavioral Profiling.

She believes, “The goal is always the same- to enable clients to become the best version of themselves. At times we need direction, to lead us down the path which is right for us.” “Working together, clients will unearth long-standing behavior patterns and perceptions that have been holding them back.
