I’m a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at the Institute of Advanced Studies under the supervision of Dr. Linda Price. I have my Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) & Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC).
My counseling experience includes working with adults, couples, children, and adolescents. I speak fluent English and Korean and provide counseling based on your language preference.
My vision is to bring healing to people who have been misdiagnosed, misunderstood, hurt and mistreated. I help children, adolescents, adults, and families to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe. It is my job to create a safe place in which people can explore themselves. I assist my clients in becoming integrated, fully functioning human beings. Therefore, it is essential that I create an environment that is safe and allow my clients to explore all of themselves without feeling judged. My approach to therapy is client-centered. I have my Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University in Riverside so I practice the faith-based Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) with my Christian Clients upon their requests. I’m a trained EMDR therapist so I work with trauma-related clients.
