Because of the film’s massive effect on people, writer and performer, James Lecense, along with Randy Stone and Peggy Rajski, inadvertently generated an amazing country-wide crusade to ensure that young people such as Trevor, always have somewhere to turn to, when they are going through an emotional and mental health crisis.

America’s First LGBTQ Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The Trevor Project offers hope and acceptance. Its staff work ceaselessly to provide excellent 24/7 suicide prevention and crisis intervention and training programs. These include the well known: TrevorChat, TrevorText, and TrevorLifeline. In addition to these much needed services, the organization also provides an education program with extremely helpful resources for young/adolescent-serving organizations and individuals; as well as a research team, which strives to find the most successful methods to help these individuals, in order to bring suicides to an end, and help them, whenever they are facing a crisis.

To date, the TrevorLifeline has provided countless youngsters with life-saving resources, and helped millions of LGBTQ people get through very difficult times during their coming of age years. Thanks to famous supporters such as Macy’s, The HOTH, Ellen Degeneres, Pharrell Williams, Lady Gaga, and many more, all of whom are a great inspiration to so many people across the nation, The Trevor Project has received millions of dollars in funding.

About The HOTH
Right from the get-go, and its humble beginnings back in 2010, The HOTH (which stands for Hitt’em Over the Head), had a vision to become the world’s top SEO company. Since that time, it has offered its customers unwavering support, and a first-class service [1].

Many different types of companies across the length and breath of the US, enjoy the success of The HOTH, but what percentage of them actually care about society at large, and want to give something back? The answer is far too few. The HOTH is a shining example to other companies, which have the means to do the same. This example of one of their employees choosing to ask for a donation to The Trevor Project, shows the important role that such companies can play. With mental health and suicide being so prevalent today, this support is need far more than it ever was.
