Excellent news just in for young adult males who would like to receive cutting-edge treatment from the Red Oak Recovery Center. Now, patients in this category who have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance coverage, will be entitled to Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) services.

Red Oaks, which is situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains close to Asheville, North Carolina, offers a clinically high-octane, trauma-intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment protocol for young adult males, aged 18 to 30. Patients are accommodated in a comfortable, clean, gender-specific building, and are surrounded by an uplifting, inspirational environment. Here, they receive 25 hours a week of dually-licensed, masters-level clinician-led group and individual therapy sessions. Each program has a limited number of participants so that the specialists can provide individualized care.

A Message From Red Oak’s Founder

The facility’s Founder and President, Jack Kline, MS, LPCS, LCAS, CCS,  stated: “In an effort to continue to provide intensive clinical care for young adults while meeting more families in need of affordable treatment cost options, we are excited to be able to serve our clients and families in this way”.

Putting the Spotlight on What’s Offered

The different mental health programs offer safety within restricted groups which provide connected aspects with each another. The facility’s serene campus for men offers a space where patients have the chance to forget their daily distractions, and instead, focus on inward reflecting. Red Oaks states: “There are many paths we take to develop lasting change in emotional and spiritual growth”.

Some of the highly beneficial therapeutic processes incorporate: Family Therapy; Group and Individual Addiction Therapy Services; Adventure Based Therapy; 12-Step Group Participation; Processing Grief and Loss, and Learning How to Be of Service to Others.

How Co-Occurring Substance Abuse is Addressed

In confronting substance abuse, the medics process the depression, anxiety and trauma, along with all other underlying emotional issues which impact patients in a negative way. Red Oaks notes that: “Sometimes these issues predate drug and alcohol use, and sometimes it is the other way around. We believe in addressing all issues in a simultaneous, holistic, and integrated fashion. Our Master’s level clinicians hold dual credentials, licensed in both mental health and clinical addictions”.

Modalities include: DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy); CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy); REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy); Gestalt Therapy; Motivational Interviewing; Animal Assisted Therapy (Canine); and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy).

With such a broad range of wonderful holistic treatments on offer, patients should feel at ease, and even excited to participate to bring their life back on track.
