Recovering Addicts and Alcoholics Offered Life Changing Opportunity

recovery

Founder of the Healthy Wealthy and Sober Movement, Certified Recovery Coach, Sarah T. Davis, has just launched a challenge to individuals who are going through alcoholism and addiction recovery. This invite is to help sufferers turn around their professional and personal lives, so they “take their health, wealth and spirits to the next level”.

Background

For the last 13-plus years, Davis has personally attended a daily recovery practice specializing in anxiety, depression, co-dependency, alcohol and food addiction; and has even survived attempted suicide whilst being under the influence. She set up her Healthy Wealthy and Sober Movement because of two important factors. One was to support other people who face obstacles on par with her own in recovery program. And the other was to show appreciation for the hard lessons life threw at her after her mother was murdered during a workplace shooting, when the latter was just 40 years old. Moreover, she is only too aware of just how short life is, and no doubt, wants other people to feel the same.

So What’s on Offer?

Firstly, there is an exclusive, free video masterclass entitled: “How to Live Your Best Life in Recovery from Addiction, Alcoholism or Problem Drinking…Without Spending a Fortune on Rehab or Years in Therapy.” During this informative and uplifting production, Davis enlightens viewers about the first holistic recovery online course, Rock Your Recovery University.

The Secondary Epidemic

Davis notes that: “We are in the midst of a global addiction and alcoholism epidemic. The health, social and economic consequences are staggering. There is also a secondary epidemic occurring and that is what happens when the drink or drug of choice is put down” .

The fallout during recovery brings on various common symptoms such as depression, misery, boredom and confusion, whether people have been clean and sober for just 24 hours, or 30 years. Further, every facet of life is affected by alcoholism and addiction, and to that end, recovery programs need to address all aspects of people’s lives life in a holistic way.

When discussing the very low success rates of mainstream programs, Davis  stressed that the effectiveness of Rock Your Recovery University, is down to the fact that it includes important modalities, namely: fun and recreation, life purpose, nutrition and exercise, stress management, money mindset, and changing careers, all of which are essential aspects of  our lives.

The Challenge

This year, Davis is challenging 2,019 addicts/recovering addicts, to take the Rock Your Recovery University course, and successfully graduate. She said: “we owe it to ourselves, those closest to us, and our global community to live our best lives. It’s time to get rid of the confusion, boredom, misery and depression that can accompany life in recovery and be our best selves”.
