“Addiction has been declared a “National Emergency” by Presidents Obama and Trump with over 23 million Americans addicted”
Neuhope, the renowned care management provider, has just announced that its premier product, which supports recovery and care plans for individuals with chronic conditions, will be entitled “Hope for Addiction”.
Aimed to Help Millions
The fastest growing chronic condition is now substance use disorder, so to that end, Neuhope is prioritizing its initial product release to help counteract this dilemma, and assist the millions of people who are battling sobriety day in. and day out.
Opioid Use, Addition & Relapse Rates in the US
Between 2010 to 2016, Opioid use shot up by a staggering 493%. Moreover, in the year 2017 alone, addiction claimed in excess of 72,000 lives. Relapse rates are also extremely high overall: “ 40-60% of those with substance use disorders will relapse, with rates for heroin and opiates around 90%”. This is very disturbing indeed, and new innovative methods to address this situation are urgently needed.
HOPE for Addiction
This out of the box solution is designed to reduce relapses through maximizing patients’ adherence to recovery plans, offering real-time intervention, and ameliorating a lifestyle of sobriety.
Recovery & Care Plans
Neuhope actively oversees these plans: “it provides all the information needed, tracks activities, and seamlessly connects patients to their support network in real-time. A cloud based software solution, delivered on any mobile or other smart device, HOPE puts the power of care in the hands of patients and their support network 24×7”. Certainly, as all addicts are likely to attest to, the 24/7 aspect is vital.
Neuhope Welcomes New Chief Product Officer
In order to ensure an excellent entry into the market, and support product delivery in the most effective way, Neuhope has appointed Earl Hightower as its Chief Product Officer. Hightower, who has an extensive list of credentials, boasts more than 35 years in the fields of addiction and recovery. He is recognized worldwide as a front line interventionist and speaker on the subject. He is also a recipient of the Drug Court Hall of Fame award, and the Obama Administration’s Champion of Recovery Award.
Hightower stated: “I am extremely excited to join Neuhope, where I can now leverage my experience to reach a much broader audience with the potential of having significant impact in helping those with substance use disorders achieve and sustain sobriety. One of the biggest challenges I have witnessed is people not being successful going from treatment to recovery” continued Earl. They are relapsing, post-treatment, before they have had a chance to firmly connect themselves to their recovery communities. Neuhope’s product provides that conduit and supports individuals across the continuum of care from treatment to recovery to sustained sobriety” .
Hightower was keen on working with Neuhope, as their comprehensive program addresses every aspect of a patient’s recovery: mind, body, and spirit. Clearly, a holistic approach is highly beneficial, and may well have greater success rates.
