Massachusetts-based addiction recovery tech company, DynamiCare Health, has just been given the Ohio Opioid Technology Challenge’s top $1 million prize, due to its cutting-edge digital platform, which is engineered to support individuals battling substance abuse.
How Was This Achieved ?
DynamiCare was able to successfully prove that those who used their tech, had significant positive outcomes. – The company’s contingency management procedure which automates evidence-based methodology, was analyzed for its impressive results. In order to be considered for the challenge, the company joined forces with Ohio’s largest addiction treatment system, BrightView. This allowed DynamiCare to incorporate its digital platform into a clinical care center for outpatients who live in Cincinnati, and gave sufferers another option.
Once the service had been up and running for 4 months, the statistics indicated that: compared to those in standard treatment, the patients who used DynamiCare, were virtually twice as liable to test negative for the illegal use of drugs. Further, those who took advantage of the platform: “also had higher appointment attendance, reported high satisfaction with how the platform supported them through their treatment, and demonstrated high engagement as measured by the time they spent interacting with the app”.
A Message From the CEO

“Partnering with DynamiCare has provided our patients with an invaluable tool that helps them achieve success in their addiction recovery, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
